"If you don't know your stuff inside and out, and able to verbalize it, don't bother appling, your going to be interviewed by the senior developers or admins, and they will see through any smoke screen."

What don't you like about working at Cogent Communications?

"Upper management and politics, senior management changes structure every year, layoffs every year, departments rearranged every year. End result very unstable work place, and no longer term goals are every followed through with. Months of work are discarded because the management team completely changed."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I recommend that the next senior person they higher has to sign a contract for 5 years so the companies longer term goals are actually followed through and completed."
