"No direction, minimal supervision, no feedback.Extremely high turnover."

"The owner is all powerfull, and that's ok but everything has to go thru him.There are good people there, and they need to be allowed to show their skills."

"Hiring incompetents from outside the company as well as unqualified family members as management. Needed to learn how to treat employees who were not family members better. Need to follow through on promises/commitments made to employees, especially regarding salary and career advancement opportunities"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Promote from within / fire all family members / don't make promises you can't keep / don't tell employees you don't have any money then build 3 six-figure show cars in one year"

"If I were to be so bold it may be to communicate the long term goals of the company and how each employee fits into this plan. It has been my view that when the leadership has developed the understanding it places great value in its workforce a union is unnecessary to compel management to improve the living standards of each family that depends on their goodwill. We all desire to be compensated well with more than platitudes."

"They need to be far more organized, and realistic about deliver times on some of their more involved projects. don't be shy about buying good tooling, it makes you money!"

"A job only, no advancement as they are looking to pay the lowest wage possible"

What do you like about working at VersaForm?

"At the time I was there there was a lot of work and overtime which helped with the low wages offered."

What don't you like about working at VersaForm?

"Versaform has a managerial staff only interest in pumping up the numbers to make their bonuses happen . When substandard part are produced the blame is placed on the workers in order to mask the managements hands off approach. The engineering manager will fire or lay off anyone who opposes his ideas, he will also farm out jobs that should be done in house for the same reason which in the end makes the company less profitable."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Upper Management need retraining. Which the corporate office is providing all the time but some of the key manager will not attend as they are quote too busy."

"The union wage was very good. There was no pressure, and good benefits."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared to play dirty politics, and whatever you do, do not rock the boat by getting an idea to improve the system. That will be instant death. Remember 3 things at Disneyland... politics, politics, politics."

What don't you like about working at Disneyland?

"The union is very complacent, old school low technology in a machine shop. People won't learn. They just want to milk the cash cow until retirement. People are lazy and stupid."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Go to school and learn the difference between leadership and management. Disneyland has managers coming out their ears (no pun intended), but not a leader to be found anywhere."
