"Carnegie Mellon University is a great place to earn a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineer. They are consistently ranked in the top 10 among universities that offer PhDs, and the new campus president is leading the university in a good direction. It is very competitive to get into a PhD program here, and it is a very stressful environment especially when you are preparing to take your qualifying exams."
