"4-10 work schedule, friendships established with staff and management. I live close to work with a drive of approximately 20 minutes. Working with wastewater is something I enjoy."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The interview process was very lengthy (due to approval through HR and Director). Be prepared for disgruntled employees that have an established a cultural of accusing/blaming each other."
What don't you like about working at City of Riverside?
"There is no opportunity for growth. It is difficult to get something accomplished when approval routes are through the City Management (HR and Public Works Director).Work environment is not enjoyable due to disgruntled employees."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"It would benefit the staff if management would demonstrate more hands on approach. The departments are segregated which makes it difficult to accomplish a common goal."
