What do you like about working at City of Riverside?
"4-10 work schedule, friendships established with staff and management. I live close to work with a drive of approximately 20 minutes. Working with wastewater is something I enjoy."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The interview process was very lengthy (due to approval through HR and Director). Be prepared for disgruntled employees that have an established a cultural of accusing/blaming each other."
What don't you like about working at City of Riverside?
"There is no opportunity for growth. It is difficult to get something accomplished when approval routes are through the City Management (HR and Public Works Director).Work environment is not enjoyable due to disgruntled employees."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"It would benefit the staff if management would demonstrate more hands on approach. The departments are segregated which makes it difficult to accomplish a common goal."

"benefits are good, pay is ok, stable employment with room to grow"

"The job expectations continue to grow as the pay stays the same. There is little morale and lots of dysfunction"

"What I do not like is the cut backs have left no advancement opennings."

"Success rate working with chemically dependent patients and psych patients. Also working with research and observing the effects of modern medicine."

"Strong marketing team for recruitment and stronger advertisement to keep census up and help detox and medically treat more patients. There is a strong need in this field."

"What I liked was the leadership of management and the ability to work with a team, but also by your self. This allowed me to grow as a team player and an individual."

"What I didnt like was the career growth opportunities they had available, I felt there was just not enough opportunities to move ahead therefore I had to leave."

"Management did a good job; I got along with them great. They listen to my input and showed great leadership."
