"Like all interviews, it is about whether the interviewer likes you. Each person / interviewer is different and looks for different things in a potential employee. Dress nicely / professionally."

What don't you like about working at City of Houston?

"working with lifers that were not motivated to get things done on time, and the civil servants think that they are running for / elected to office (more political than corporate America)"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Political leaders will change, but our obligation to the citizens of the City of Houston remains. None of us has a life-time tenure; working for the City is not a right."
