"Working for the city was great, as it afforded me a close look at the way a major urban municipality works. I prided myself on raising the quality of design for all New Yorkers. I created the media for various campaigns to improve design quality and quality of life for NYC. As a leading city in the US, the initiatives that I produced graphics for are a model for improving city life throughout the country."

"It is boring and the chairs are uncomfortable. When there is no voters it is slow and you need a lot of patience waiting. When there are a lot of voters the machines might get broken. The paperwork for the changing of address is hectic. Besides that it was a nice experience seeing people in the neighborhood and helping the voters vote."
