Volunteer Parking Permit Assistant

"I've volunteered for this city for 7 years. I have found it to be very helpful providing great customer service to the individuals that enter the building. I am around great people from all of the different departments of public works which provided a professional atmosphere to work in."

Systems Integrator

"DO NOT GO TO WORK THERE. EVERYTHING THEY WILL TELL YOU IS A LIE."

What do you like about working at City of Beverly Hills?

"Nothing, the place was a nightmare. of political infighting, intrigue, discrimination against new employees and anyone not part of the clique that has been there their entire working lives."

What don't you like about working at City of Beverly Hills?

"You are watched all the time and they use ketstroke loggers. Political infighting, intrigue, discrimination against new employees and anyone not part of the clique that has been there their entire working lives. Hired to be a systems integrator, I ended up doing little more than desktop and PDA support. I was expected to support the data center, but was not to be trusted with the domain admin password. As a new employee, I was told I was a security risk. I was seriously ill and there is no sick time for new people, so I still had to show up with a 100 degree fever and was told later than the supervisor was overly generous because he sent me home."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management IS the problem."
