"There was a constant list of things that needed to be done. It was never a dull moment. They always tried to provide training for what was expected of you. I say tried."

"They love acronyms, so make sure you're up on them, even is you don't know them. Your manager won't know them."

What don't you like about working at Cisco Systems?

"If someone else was slacking on your project you had to pick it up. Don't expect management to pick up on it. They just want it done. So choose your team very carefully."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Pay attention to who is doing what. Don't listen to the noise; pay attention. Employees are known to 'embellish' what they did. The people you don't hear from are too busy to tell you about everything they did."
