"Be sure you have experience leading Medicaid IT units. Must have a working knowledge of managing outsourced IT Infrastructure and Telecommunication vendors. Need a strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to negotiate with the Federal Government to acquire Federal dollars for Medicaid initiatives."

"Member of the strategic team at the airline. Completely rebuilt/replaced all core systems. Built a world-class department that delivered miracles. Survived and grew when other carriers were failing."

"Acquired by a VC which had no industry knowledge or experience but which insisted on trying to make all the key decisions. Management paralysis hurt the profitability of the company badly."

"Trust the people you pay to do the job, who have the experience and track records to prove it."

"Young company, got to be a part of going public and the road show. Was able to move from CIO to COO of one of the divisions and improve my pure business skills."

"The roll-up acquisition strategy was able to destroy the most profitable division of the company and eventually force us in to bankruptcy and dissolution"
