"I worked for the CIA since June 2007. I was recently RIFed because I was in between assignments and Congress mandated that they reduce their numbers. It was an okay place to work, I learned a lot of skills because they liked their MSA's to change positions every couple of years."

"I liked the people I worked with, and the goal of the CIA is one that can make up for the slow pace and and antiquated equipment."

"I prefer to develop and design solutions, but most of those services are performed for the CIA by contractors."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The heavily political nature of the office should not effect everyone. Try to shield the engineers from those shenanigans."
