"The people I worked with for the most part were very focused on success."

"Communication with clients often went through a spin process by upper management to fall more in-line with what they thought the client wanted to hear. Lack of honesty."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Set a goal based on client's needs and be more honest in assessing performance against that goal. Allow managers to manage. Reduce number of upper management layers."

"The products and the position I held. I made a difference for other companies with the products I sold."

"Understand behavioral interviewing and have plenty of examples to share."

"Too many levels of management and too many reports stating the same thing."

"The support organization was the best. It was blown out with job cuts."

"It is a risky company to work for right now - appear to be positioning for M&A. I would only interview if you need a job and can accept the possiblity of short-term employment."

"The uncertainty of employment. There was absolutely no rhyme or reason for layoffs."

"Communicate to employees!"

"no back haul and the capital costs involved killed deals as well as intense channel conflict existed"

"good guys, none of them are there anymore"

"Working for the company was great. Just was in the wrong field (Channels leasing) in 2009 the company decided to trim a number of relationships with 3rd party companies."

"Had an office in Boston that closed...hard to work remote when no office around for 250 miles...a lot of turnover in executive team when I was there"

"SGI was a wonderful place to work while I was there."

"Crazy, dynamic and chaotic corporate culture that rewarded success. This was at time when SGI was a powerhouse in computing. Unfortunately those days are long gone."

"At the time, Executive Management was extremely arrogant and ran the company into the ground."

"A lot of corporate restructure starting with Senior Management. Sales force reduction. Financially conservative. But I have strong references from the Region Manager."

"Friendly positive environment. Opportunity to make a strong contribution and produce results to expand the growth and performance of the team."

"Senior management is not aligned with activities of Sales team. Organizational structural challenges to support team."

"Know/learn the Network Security vendor market, learn competitive differentiators, make 50 prospecting calls every day, get out and visit new/existing Partners and work closely with them as they will make you very successful."
