"I would have to say that a lack of transparency was a detriment to morale."

"I had a moderate amount of freedom to succeed or fail on my own merits."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"View it as a stepping stone to get experience. They are a private company and set in their ways. Mostly an old-boys club. Negotiate higher pay upfront if you can as raises are slim. There is no path for promotion but many employees quit and then reapply for better positions months/years later."
What don't you like about working at Spectra Logic?
"I was threatened with termination over political beliefs. I wasn't paid over $30K that I was owed because of unethical accounting practices. Upper management flat up told me that they wanted me to quit and that they would never pay me fair market salary because I didn't negotiate high enough when I was first hired. They didn't do raises over 5%, even with significant promotions and results. They would prefer to hire outside of the company rather than promote from within."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would value my human resource. I wouldn't use constant job threats as a motivational tool."

"Exciting products (technology leader). Selling both through partners and direct. Enjoyed educating others to help sell products"

"Bleeding cash now so very suspect of long term opportunity there."

"The adoptiom rates for solutions are very slow for NET as well as for competitive products/solutions"

"Focus on other markets more (SBC capabilities) and not so much on Microsoft Lync"
