1.8 Don't know who is writing these great reviews must be corporate trying to offset the truth I've been here 4.5 years and it's a complete shatshow 99% of drivers won't get anything fixed they just pull it flat tires no lights etc but that's what the company wants no one cares about safety or freight just hogepoge it to get through the day then you have the same thing tomorrow and so on they hired some new CEO all he did is fire some of the best people they had so now zero support drivers have to work on equipment or it doesn't get fixed terminal mgrs do what they can but they have no support training what training they put new CDL holders in a truck with a driver that doesn't know how to drive themselves corporate is in complete denial they actually think this is a great company that's why nothing gets better here's some examples of the stupidest ideas in LTL tm cant close there own loads must send email so drivers sit for no pay;must use the tablet on forklift to scan freight but they don't work half of the time causing delays oh did I mention no pay until logged in to tablet they slow everything down cost to the company duh most drivers don't know how to load freight I watch them stack hazmat on top of other freight and stack freight on top hazmat they don't care if there is a spill they just throw woodchips on it and business as usual health insurance is the worst in the industry driver pays all of the premium they don't kick in nothing 401K they will contribute a whopping 600$ a year wow a whole 600 dollars so that's my rant if you are a lazy don't care about nothing kind of driver central is the place for you but plan to donate a lot of your time about 2 hours every night because you only get paid for driving and working the dock but they way this company is run its damned near impossible unless your a very good problem solver because you are on your own hear

4.5 I have worked for Central Transport for a total of almost 5 years now. I have worked at 3 different terminals and worked my way up from an Operations Manager, to a Terminal Manager, and now I am the Regional Employee Relations Manager. This company is fast paced and ever changing to remain competitive in the market. If you are looking for a career where you will be rewarded based on your performance rather than seniority trumps all, this company is for you. Central Transport will allow you to achieve your professional and salary goals and still have room to surpass them. I truly enjoy my job and refer people in as often as I can when the spots are open.

5 I've worked at Central Transport now for 15 years. I have watched this company grow tremendously to somewhere around 198 terminals nation wide. We seem to get better each and every year and strive to provide a positive and productive work environment. The people here are great, the tractors are new and the Atlanta GA terminal just got a facelift. If you are considering changing your place of employment then I urge you to check us out, You won't be disappointed.
