"When I began working for Easter Seals Central Texas, it was a nonprofit that provided excellent and ethical direct services to people with disabilities. However, the company has gone rapidly downhill with the change in CEO, due in large part to his lack of knowledge of direct patient care models. This is exacerbated by an unwillingness to include staff with knowledge of direct care in decision-making, resulting in erosion of quality of care with ethical and legal implications."
