"My previous role was with CDM Media as a CIO Relationship Manager. The job was calling on C Level technology executives with a goal of booking them to attend events the organization coordinated. There was no selling involved. There was no fee for the CIOs to attend. To interest them I had to engage them in conversations that were relevant. I did work with energy companies so I had to understand topics such as Smart Grid technology. It was all heavy phone work and I sourced my own leads."
