"The specific work I do; colleagues; jobs are hard to find and I'm glad to just have one."

"For faculty, regular promotion opportunities accompanied by salary bumps; for other staff, you will get behind in pay and never catch up. Realize you will get 0% or 1% raises forever. They never have money, except for those at the top."
What don't you like about working at Carroll Community College?
"Not enough faculty or staff in many departments, while others are fully staffed. Results in many employees working unreasonable hours without being compensated. Takes the joy out of otherwise very satisfying work. Over time, can cause resentment."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Staff the departments and offices in a FAIR manner--if you're a favorite of management your department gets resources; if not, it doesn't. Pay scale is grossly unfair-"

"My supervisor in the Philosophy department thought my work was excellent. I enjoyed the students. I started a discussion club which was vary successful."
