Capitol Care Employee

"Anyone who cares even slightly about other human beings, need not apply. I implore anyone who is in a situation where they need to put a loved one in someone else's care to stay far, far away. The company is 'for' profit, and that is all they strive for, profit. Even (no, I guess I should say when) that means stepping on the bodies of their clients they have left on the ground. The company is very 'top heavy', comprised of mostly people in higher management positions that have mediocre levels of education, that do not interact with the clients, and still attempt to call all the shots. And every decision that is made, is with money in mind. They blame the turnover rate of their staff on "the industry" when in reality, they terminate every staff member that is not willing to cover up their mistakes, their flaws, their neglect, and their abuse. Every single caring staff member has either been driven away, or fired for fighting for their clients, and not keeping their mouth shut to cover the atrocities that are occurring. Management is instructed to "keep their doors shut and ignore the clients". Because of course, we must finish our paperwork, and that takes precedence over the health and safety of the clients. Paperwork, which, is not done correctly by state, or any other standards. Despite the emphasis on the importance of this paperwork, it has placed individuals in situations where they have lost important elements of their care because, as previously stated, it was done incorrectly. Regardless of how many times they have been placed under investigation in the residential aspect of their company, they refuse to change their ways, because, changing their ways would lose them money. And at the end of the day, as management constantly quotes "it is all about nickles and dimes". And no, that is not "the reality of the world", it is in fact the reality of the greed of the company and nothing else."
