3I really like what CFIB does, which is represent the interest of independent businesses. They provide a lobbying voice so independent businesses have an equal say as the large businesses that have their own full-time lobbyists.
The problem with working there is their compensation model. Having a rural region is very difficult because the amount you make on renewals or new business often doesn't even cover the gas and wear and tear on your vehicle.
4.8I worked with the government of Canada as a coop student, and once after graduating. I was given tremendous amount of support, and the work was very meaningful. The environment was great, and collaborative. I got to work with various stakeholders, directors and VP level executives.
