"Strong IT department with revolutionary ideas on how to better market to their core customer base using technology as the catalyst. Hoping that their present financial predicament does not stall too many of the projects that are still WIP."

"Too many managers, no leadership within senior management. You are controlled and not led. Nice facility at corporate but not enough room. The environment is stuffy. Very difficult to achieve project goals because of the lack of leadership and contention between IT and InfoSec. Because of this the program progressed very slowly and is months behind schedule."

"Corporate Retail Division has an antiquated inventory control system, a very controlling atmosphere and a lot of favoritism. Very difficult to get the job done. Strategic plan did not make sense given the type of retail environment we were dealing with in the Casinos. A very low inventory turn ratio (less than 2), for the traffic and number of locations."

"Caesars has very little enthusiasm for innovation when it comes to IT Security. A very technically inept IT management organization with maintaining status quo. There are some good individuals that share my passion for process improvements and automation. However, the lack of leadership and arrogance tends to overwhelm any potential requests for improvement."

What don't you like about working at Caesars Entertainment?

"There is no job security. If you make a couple mistakes they could have the Indiana Gaming commission walking you off the floor. Ive seen it happen to excellent employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Practice what you preach. Everyone Greets everyone :EGE is a customer service push they implemented to bring scores up. I rarely see top managers saying a word to customers or employees they walk by. I'm sure if these managers were to follow what they are asking then we wouldn't have such low scores because it would set an example for others."

What don't you like about working at Caesars Entertainment?

"There is no room for advancement. Once you are in a position and seem to excel at it they want to keep you there because they don't want to find another person. You will then be stuck in that position until you either are lucky enough to transfer or you leave the company. You really are just another number to them and are treated as such."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would make sure that every employee, starting from the bottom to the top, knows that they are appreciated and valued. There would be a better program in place to reward exceptional employees and discipline the bad ones. Overall, I would hope the company would place more emphasis on treating the employees better from the food in the EDR to valuing education and allowing more advancement."
