"Plan on pulling yourself up by the bootstraps. There are lots of opportunities, but you have to take them for yourself - no one will hand them to you."

"Difficult to get changes through the overwhelming bureacracy. Sometimes difficult to get a good idea out because there are too many naysayers or it is hard to find the right person to talk to."

"More excitement, more energy, fewer products so we could concentrate on the right ones"

"My team is awesome, my boss is great, good benefits"

"There are small areas of the company that are run well, like the team I am in, but as a whole, CA is very old school and based on a culture of finger pointing and excuses."

"Too much politics, too many people in it for their own paycheck instead of the company goals and values. The old guard at CA is incapable of running an innovative tech company."

"I would remove the overhead, stop re-orging and acquiring, focus on innovation."

"Too many different products to work with where strategy does not make sense"

"Flatten the organization with only subset of the key products"

"Sorry. I would not recommend it. Initially my unit had a start-up atmosphere. When CA took direct control of the company, that atmosphere changed to one of uncertainty."

"management in my division was out of touch with the customers needs and focused too heavily on numbers"

"They need to get more engaged and staff according to need."
