"Easy work, I don't have to deal with people very often, and decent pay until I get through college. I just wish I worked somewhere better and now I'm struggling because of it."

"What I love about being a busser is that it is simple work and easy to remember. I have a personality to where I cannot be bored, and that's the only error I see because sometimes it's boring when everything is done and there's no more work."

"I liked the fast pace of the position. However, the responsibilities were never clearly cut and sometimes you were sent to the dish pit because the management didn't hire new dishwashers a month after they fired one, or was made to run food while dirty tables were piling up and on top of that you were pushed to work harder. At closing time, the servers wouldn't do their part (namely, pre bussing tables) and just left, and you would have to deal with it day after day. The tips weren't all that bad, you can reasonably expect to make $14-17/hr summing your tips and the minimum wage. But you are gonna have to work for it, and they'll make sure you do."

"My coworkers were friendly, and the job was straightforward. I really liked the hours for this job."

"Just be yourself in the interview, you should get hired."

What don't you like about working at Kodiak Jack's?

"The owner was distant, and when he did come out on the floor, he was usually yelling at people in front of the customers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Take more of a you made a mistake, now let's fix it kind of approach, instead of just yelling at people."
