"Micromanagement. Oppressive work environment. No set vision. Goals were always changing."

"Lots of opportunity in the Power Monitoring division. Many people to network with."

"This is a large company and sometimes the HR teams are not very knowledgeable about roles. The hiring manager has all of the power of hiring."

"Too big. Too many divisions. Too many changes to plans and organization."

"Make and stick with plans for many years. Make people accountable. Stop the reorganization with the current frequency."

"The team is small and incredibly talented. Everyday I'm faced with creating PRD's and strategy for moving the company forward, so I'm constantly learning new things and expanding my knowledge of the future of media."

"The Sharpp Group was an entrepreneurial venture. Its growth potential is great and like most boutique firms presents a large amount of flexibility to its employees. I liked the vision of the founder and how she constantly had ideas to help generate new business."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Perspective employees should be comfortable wearing many hats and multitasking. Don't be afraid to share ideas because brainstorming is welcomed. You need to be highly committed to the firm. It's not a role that should plan to take with the attitude of an employee at a large firm where you are concerned with your performance only. Paramount to your performance is the performance of the firm as a whole in a start-up venture. Everybody's eyes should be on the boat because your performance alone won't keep it afloat."
What don't you like about working at The Sharpp Group?
"While there was great growth potential for the firm I didn't see great growth potential for my skill set. Web design is not my area of expertise; though I pride myself on analysis across industries because of the market niche that we were targeting there was a lack of diversity in the work I was doing on a daily basis, at least the diversity in the work didnt meet my expectations."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I think management should whittle down their creative burst and focus on their best ideas instead of pursuing all of their ideas at once. I also suggested a more structured approach to financial management and cost allocation."

"The subject matter - mobile apps and working with great brands"

"Inconsistency of payroll and becoming more difficult to sell due to high cost of app development"

"optimize development to make more affordable; much is due to the economy and is not the fault of mgmt"

"Unable to execute because they are too stodgy in there approach to IT"

"Get a clue! Really the revolving door went out a long time ago. What about nurturing a team."
