"Improve management. Branch manager should set-up as an example, act with authority, start inter-acting with employees, ask for any company and employee problems, investigate and resolve issues, manage the company and impose company policies, hire skilled professionals and have control to what is happening in everyday work. Re-organize the branch office."

"My experience has been mostly confined to the IT department where I believe that the management is doing descent overall but needs to take stronger stances and direction on standardization and become more organized to do so."

"The opportunity to work around areas that have a direct impact on our country was enormous for me. The people that I worked with were of exceptional caliber and I value the experience with them. I would work with them again given the opportunity."

"Expect to work long hours.Don't expect alot of atta-boys.Safety is first along with excellence.Love what you do, know what you love.Double check everything."
What don't you like about working at Burns & McDonnell?
"Upper management would not allow me to become a permanent employee and receive benefits so I had to move on. Money wasn't the issue, Labor Ready, the staffing agency, did nothing to reward me for the long time I made them alot of money. I don't hold Burns and McDonnell responsible for not wanting to cross boundaries with the agency."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The one thing would be for them to slow down and recognize what is available to them. They seem to run at a very fast pace and fail to recognize assets."
