"The company allow us to work at home and to use our time flexibly as long as the work results are good."

"Salary is low. No bonus. Few chances for career advancement. Health insurance is not good."

"The company should be more flexible to do other platforms business instead of mostly Windows embedded. Don't depend on MS very much."

"It's better to respect engineers more."

"I worked at bSQUARE on a contract through Direct Apps, who did not offer a benefit package. bSQUARE probably does offer benefits to permanent employees.The friendliness and care shown by all the other employees and contractors is what I found remarkable about this company. Not a day would go by without someone asking after my welfare. A very humane and decent atmosphere complimented their unrivaled technical expertise."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Expertise in Windows CE or Mobile should be required for development or testing jobs. Those two OS's comprise over 80% of their work."

What don't you like about working at BSQUARE?

"I actually disliked nothing about bSQUARE. What I dislike is working on an at-will contract. My contract was terminated due to a large schedule change that caused the elimination of my position. They specialize in working with systems that use Windows CE or Windows Mobile."

"Savor and nurture your wonderful climate. These days such humanity is too rare in other working circumstances. Believe in people and their good intentions, and they will follow you through even adversity."
