"Be specific with your responses, point out simlar projects that you've managed or designed, SMILE, and work well with both the office and plant people, when you get the job."

What don't you like about working at BP?

"One or two abrasive personalities (you find them everywhere). I also felt that operations was not given the substantial opportunity to contribute during the scoping of the project."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The one point is that they should hire an experienced project estimator so there is a consstency to the budgets. This should result in a more predictable cost control for projects and schedules. The Project Lead can still have control of the overall project execution via reviews and close coordination of daily activities."

"I loved my first boss James Bate, he DID NOT micro-manage and always kept the team in good spirirts!"

"If it is for Corp BP. Have a 2nd job on back-up or just save save save your paychecks. It teeter-totters from day to day! But good luck! :)"

What don't you like about working at BP?

"The boss who I had before I quit. Jorge something. He would come around bark orders and leave. He never helped any managers a day in his life. He is the one who lead me to quit BP."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"From what I hear there are not any more Corp owned businesses. I still am in touch with a few of my former co-workers and they are no longer employed with BP due to the selling of their stores to independent owners."

"I worked as a contractor there and tried to get hired by BP, but they were not hiring at the time I worked there."

"Get to know the manager and the employee. They are nice people, they just need help on custumer service."

"The company seemed machanical in the way they handled there custumers. They had little to no personality and just seemed robotic."

"Get to know your employees, all two of us, and treat custumers like they are the most imortant custumer you have."
