"It's only a paycheck until I can do better, no future unless your a family member! long term employees seem to be cast out under very unusual circumstances."

"st.george and surrounding towns offer very little reasonable paying jobs but I would encourage anyone not to even bother applying for any position with the blvd that they may have open, chances are very likely you won't last due to questionable termination practices or pure dislike, no future, low wages etc!"

What don't you like about working at Boulevard Home Furnishings?

"This is the only company I have ever worked for that demotes incompetent team leaders and then eventualy places them right back in the same job a couple years later warehouse. Horrible, lacks professionalism, could care less about firing you for very questionable reasons with no consideration about feeding your family only there bottom line, oh they say there about old fashion values and work ethic etc BS BS but they certainly don't practice what they preach at the height of the financial crisis they terminated 60 plus employees by way of bullying and settng people up to fail using big brother tactics!."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"problems abound starting with the executive leadership, down to the operations management, weak human resources staff and poor business model and zero professionalism and labor management skill. they need to stop with the petty bullying and childish games"

"The employees were great, the store is beautiful, St. George is a great place. On the surface, everything looks good. But stick around a while and watch good people come and go almost every day!"

"There are three kinds of people who work here:- those who will quit or be fired within 2 years (70%)- those who stay because they are in management and are too incompetent to get a job elsewhere.- Owners family"

"Back stabbing, incompetent managers, low pay, incredibly high turn-over, fire good people for no reason, ridiculous decision-making process, ultra-conservative, penny-wise and pound foolish management practices. Managers are wolves in sheep's clothing."

"Clean house! Your managers are incompetent because you aren't willing to pay for quality. Many employees out-qualify their bosses, but they don't last."

"This company is the worst I have ever worked for I have never worked under and been around such a negative work environment and unfair labor practices, they demote and terminate employees with very little reason to save money!"

"seek employment elsewhere, do not waste your time or dignity! not worth your effort or dedication."

"Management clicks, favoritism,low wages, very expensive family health insurance, no advancement opportunity,stupid contest to supposedly improve moral but all this does is hide giving raises."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Total restructure less family members in management, just because you have a masters in accounting doesn't mean you have management skills, this does'nt work! there are also many supervisors who don't have college degrees."
