"I worked for Black Hills Energy for almost nine years and oversaw and implemented many changes. Where I struggle is that after almost a decade in the Supply Chain organization, we hadn't truly moved the needle. I struggled to stay when my best years were spent in an organization that is simply floating along. I want to implement ideas of merit and be successful in my organization and in my career."

"BHC does so many things in the energy arena; thus, learn as much as possible about this subject."
What don't you like about working at Black Hills Corp.?
"I have too many different technologies I need to support and development projects in from java to SSRS, SSIS, Drupal, Portlet Factory, etc. That's good in one sense but it's difficult to become an expert."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I believe management is maybe promising more than what can be produce with the current resources. But the challenges are many."

"I was supposed to build software for the Exploration and Production Department, but spent most of my time building applications for the corporate office in Rapid City, SD."

"It would be better to give feedback on a regular basis, rather than wait once a year."
