"Norstan promoted from within, they offered great training and support. I was allowed to be creative with in my job."
What don't you like about working at Black Box Network Services?
"They closed operations in Akansas and about 12 other locations at the same time. My office was closed 6 weeks too early. I offered to work for strait commission because of the 2.3 million dollars in orders that I knew I had comming. The customer would not purchase from a company that did not have an office in the state so a competator got the order. I also wanted to carry one or two different phone manufactures that would have helped sales."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"It is a very different company today offering far more services and products in fewer locations than when I was there. The product divercity that I wanted is now there. Customers still want to see an office or at least staff with in 2 hours drive of them which it does not appear that Black Box has today."
