Berkeley College
Overview
Berkeley College was originally founded by Alyea M Brick in 1931 as a private school dedicated to training and advancing women in executive secretarial jobs. Interestingly enough, the school was launched during the Great Depression.
Berkeley College’s New York and New Jersey campuses host nearly 8,000 students. Of those, more than 800 are international students representing more than 100 countries. Berkeley's New York City campus locations are in the middle of Manhattan, in Brooklyn, in the midst of the business district in White Plains, and then there are several New Jersey locations in Newark, Woodland Park, Woodbridge, and Paramus. Berkeley’s many locations provide students and employees access to all of the wonders of New York City and the New Jersey area.
Programs of study are split into 3 main areas: the School of Business, the School of Professional Studies and the School of Liberal Arts. Berkeley offers a wide range of career driven degrees including Accounting, Business Administration, Fashion Marketing, Financial Services, Graphic Design, Health Care, Interior Design and Management. Berkeley has also recently launched an MBA program.
