It is great company to work for and I would highly recommend. Beckman Coulter has good benefit for their employee. I have learned many new technologies and my career has advanced. If Fullerton plant is not closing then I would be still working at Beckman Coulter."

"I wish Fullerton Plant was not closed or if they would have transferred all projects to Brea site. But no complaint."

"I worked for Beckman Coulter for 14 years and the only thing that I know is I love and I miss Beckman Coulter so much.To me it is the best company in Florida, excellent in all aspects, being quality the most important function of every Beckman/Coulter employee."

"The only thing that I don't like was they relocated my whole department to California. I think is a big mistake."

"Fast environment, manager making quick decisions (often in hallway or cubic), plans changing often based on marketing and custom requirements. Managers/team leaders/developers were not only hands-on and had strong problem solving skills but also were very analytical and had strong theoretical knowledge."

"Software engineers must pass written test like C (implement strdup, strtok, bit wise manipulation), C++, data structures (linked list, tree, queue), algorithms (search, sorting, complexcity, merger, etc), embedded software related topics like setup a memeory mapped register, interrupt handling,etc."

"Too much paper work required by FDA regulations."
