"The structure of the company made developing a cohesive brand strategy very challenging."

"Restructure to fully centralize communications decision making rather than empower individuals who are not responsible for branding."

"Beckman Coulter was a good place to work, with a great working environment. The people, and management were extremely helpful, and responsive to the needs of the project. I would recommend Beckman Coulter to anyone looking for a company which they can work long term. The compensation, and benefits were great, as were the working conditions. My supervisor ended up becoming a dear friend that I still keep in touch with, even though he retired two years ago."

"The company has since been acquired and it might not be the most current form of advice needed. I will say only this - be prepared to work hard."

"It was a huge company and sometimes the bureaucracy could be hard to contend with. However, my boss gave me lots of room within his purview."

"Train people well, inspire them, give them the right tools, set clear goals and then let them run. Be there to course correct and help if needed."
