What do you like about working at Bearing Service?

"One of my favorite things while working for this company was the fact that they placed a high importance on continuing education. This included learning from elders in the industry so that knowledge wasn't lost... which was very helpful. They never shied away from sending us to corporate training seminars or courses vendors and/or clients sponsored. This company has an amazing culture. It truly felt like being part of a community... actually it was more like being part of a family. They backed their employees 100% and support was never a question... it was a given. You were part of a team and never felt like someone was about to stab you in the back. Everyone knew they were all working together to achieve the same thing: success. The management was excellent at identifying talent and how to utilize it effectively."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you're looking for a company where you will learn, where you'll be able to get quality vs quantity and where you will feel part of a team, then this is the place for you. If you're looking for a position where you're driven by money and status I'd look elsewhere."

What don't you like about working at Bearing Service?

"The only downside was that this company seemed to shy away from advancing their technology. When I started in 2006, they still had a basic website which they had created back in the late 1980's; getting them to change this was a bit sluggish, but ultimately we were able to get it done."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I can't really think of anything... management was great and very supportive."
