"Career path is not clear, many changes in the IT leadership team in the past few years"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop, watch, and move. Separate Operation from strategy, let the fire fighters put the fire down, while the thinker plan on how not to have it again. You can't operate having everyone doing fire fighting all the time."
"This is a complex company and had gone through many changes since I started three years ago. My answers would be much different if I were asked two years ago."

"Management hasn't made the best decisions."

"I think they should have a bit more consideration for their employees."
What do you like about working at Beam?
"It was a great job for interacting with several levels of customer. The distributor/wholesalers that sold our products, the retailers, who sold it directly to the consumers, and the consumers, who ultimatley purchased and consumed our product. When developing sales and marketing programs, all three customers must be considered."

"No, overall, it is a good organization."
What don't you like about working at Beam?
"I was told when I accepted a position, that I would not be asked to relocate, but the company went through an aquisition and new management came into position, and all the marketing personnel, based in Deerfield, Il, were asked to relocate to our respectivve territories. Mine was the Northwest, and I was asked to move to Seattle,WA, but due to family reasons, I was unable to make the move."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Allow personnel the ability to stay in one location without having to relocated every few years."
