-Too much emphasis on slides in what is supposed to be a startup environment

3.7BCG is a place to work if you want to better understand problems across multiple industries and companies. There are not many places that will so quickly get your experience in dealing with the toughest problems from so many different companies. Additionally, you will be surrounded by the best and brightest, which can both be intimidating and rewarding. It is not an easy job, but there are few better places to learn how business really works than BCG.
3I worked under 1 manager for the past 15 years who was not a manager of people but was brilliant in managing process. A genius with no personality. I loved the challenge but the grind of never being good enough took it's toll. The company itself has a bias against keeping older productive workers particularly as they approach retirement age.
