What do you like about working at BB&T?

"I liked the overall approach that the comapny had to business. I like working for Denis Bilodeau. The support we received from the home office and other branches was always very professional and helpful."

What don't you like about working at BB&T?

"Having so many meetings about the same things when the issues were already clearly identified and most of the meeting times were wasteful of time and resources."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Limit meetings to essential only. Meetings just to have meetings was a waste of time and energy."

What do you like about working at BB&T?

"The unit I worked in was approx. 95% paperless. We would scan and bookmark everything so it was so easy to answer each client or underwriter's requests. I enjoyed working with my co-workers and the underwriters."

What don't you like about working at BB&T?

"The numerous change in ownership. Uncertainty of job security. When I first started working there they had monthly meetings to go over changes in the insurance industry and to have open discussions. When UnionBanc acquired them they no longer had meetings."

"Retail is the strongest, most supported division of the Bank. I would highly recommend any suitable opportunity in this area; espically outside the DC Metro footprint."

"Regional management who make job altering decision based on numbers alone or footprint standards instead of focusing on localized business pratices and history."

"Support and grow your local teams that have a strong proven and positive record. Fully understand your market before implementing change."
