"It was a career choice I made while attending school, there was nothing wrong with working there at that time in my life."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They should pay more attention to the sales reps, as reward even with a mere phone call when they see a job well done."
What do you like about working at Starbucks?
"I really enjoyed the fast pace environment, the variety of task, interaction with others and meeting deadlines. Overall it was a great experience as a college student. I really enjoyed the position. I was always happy to go to work."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Show your people skills, confidence, and be open minded. It's not a glamorous job but it is fun."
What don't you like about working at Starbucks?
"While I really enjoyed Starbucks the two items that no longer really fit with my lifestyle were the hours of work, which were as early as 4 am to as late as 12 am. Secondly, I always smelled like coffee, I outgrew smelling like such."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management did a great job training and prepping their staff. The only suggestion would be have more coverage on the floor during closing hours."
What don't you like about working at Starbucks?
"No growth. managers need more training. Can work around schedules like they said they could."
What do you like about working at Starbucks?
"I loved the environment, the smell of different coffees, and the constant movement and excitement. I loved drawing the signs and being artistic. I enjoyed the regular customers and took pride in training new employees. I also took pride in doing a good job for the Health and Safety inspectors by ensuring that our store was always in tip top shape in regards to cleanliness, therefore always receiving an A."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"We had a manager who won Regional Manager over and over, she is awesome!"

"It allows its employees with the right tools to provide an excellent customer service experience."

"My co-workers. Constantly having an upbeat, positive atmosphere. My boss. The hours."

"Feeling dirty after work."

"None. My manager was a great boss. Supervisors though could have stronger work ethic."

"I enjoyed learning how to make all the espresso beverages, as well as tasting them! It was great to work with energetic employees and customers."

"Be as open and friendly as you can be. Don't be nervous, just go in and have fun."

"Taking out the trash. Other than that, I loved what I did!"
