I have spent my entire career working in the bank industry in different positions, locations, and countries. This has allowed me to learn and showcase several skills: adaptability through working in different social and economic environments, creativity by working with the most unexpected situations, and dependability. These various experiences have taught me to be a strong, well-rounded, and committed team player.
As a bank manager in the offshore finance industry, I had the opportunity to develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Combined with strategic business focus, multitasking skills, the ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and solve problems, I have earned several years of experience in internal control and management.
As manager in our Miami and Cayman Islands branches, some of my duties included preparing and submitting the budgets of our locations to the board of directors, submitting financial and regulatory reporting to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), maintaining contact with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) regarding the branch activities, supervision of employees in USA and Brazil, and dealing with internal and external audits in Brazil, the Cayman Islands, and USA.
