"Practice Managers need some experience of veterinary medicine. Hiring people from the outside to run a hospital is a poor decision on field leadership."

"Depends on what you're looking for. If you are in the call center, depending on the department, stress your ability to sell and emphathize."

"My boss. The guy that sits on the other side of my desk cube. The fact that I have a degree and work in a call center with no opportunity to advance."

"I would place someone else in charge of my department, preferably someone who actually knows what we do."

"When interviewing for this company, I would recommend showing your passion for working with animals and show your concern for their health and well being."

"I felt that some of the employees were over worked and unhappy."

"I feel that management should have more compassion for their employees. Many of them were left closing the hospital without any assistance."

"Great Co- workers and the pets make it great. I like that the company you the tools to learn more and grow in the company."

"Try to find a job somewhere else. All the stress and work not worth the pay"

"manager has mood swings, sometimes likes us sometimes not so much. Not enough pay for all the tuff we have to do. very overwhelming and no one helps. manager just sits there watches us throught the camera. depending on her mood she will help with the phones"

"I would treat each employee with respect, pay them what they deserve. Listen to what they need and want so that they can enjoy coming to work everyday"

"Not like most veterinary hospitals since it is a corporation, very tightly bound by rules, regulations, protocols, etc. Definitely a company that focuses much more on the business aspect of veterinary practice and not on the animals and clients."

"working for a doctor-especially one that has some major ethical issues, high stress, corporately owned, burned out, redundant daily work"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Lose all the contracts that clients have to sign just in order for there pet to be seen. Figure out a way to dramatically decrease wait times for and appointment-most appointments are never seen on time at most locations. Get rid of the optimum wellness plans because they cause more stress than relief for the clients and for the associates."

"the management, my boss is extremely Christian and brought that to work wanted everyone to pray with him and gave us a hard time when we refused, worked almost 55 hr/week got paid for 40hr/hr did not get a raise when I got my promotion except 2 weeks paid vacation. Felt like I was taken advantage off."
