Politics and abuse is observed in the work place. The employees are not appreciated and excuses are used to fire people and replace them with family/friends. There is no possibility of growth, since all the managerial positions are help for expatriates, coming from Brazil. The environment is a mix of fear, desperation to get out of there, and abuse. Be aware.

Relies heavily on Mainframe, it can be a little aged for those that want experience in the Microservices era.
Has an adult culture, kind of a formal company, overall a good place to work.
I've been working for Banco do Brasil for the past 10 years, I think it was a great place to work and to build a carreer, also they really take care of their employees.
