Bakers Square Careers & Info

Bakers Square Overview

Bakers Square is an American restaurant chain, famous for its wide range of dessert pies. The company's roots can be traced back to 1969 in Iowa, where it began as an informal dining chain. Originally named Mrs. C's, then Poppin' Fresh Pies, it was acquired by a larger restaurant chain in 1983 and renamed as Bakers Square. Throughout decades of name changes and ownership, the chain remained popular for fresh pies that were available at the counter or by advance order.

Bakers Square has its headquarters in Denver, Colorado. The brand operates more than 45 restaurants, mainly in Ohio, Wisconsin and Minnesota. In addition to brick-and-mortar offerings, its signature pies can be ordered online. Baker's Square is currently owned by American Blue Ribbon Holdings, which operates 690 restaurants in 43 states.
