"Dont expect things to get done in a timely manner, expect delays, expect high turnover in employees, expect to seek our clients through cold calling and emails. Expect to work hard for little pay."
What don't you like about working at Laser Photonics?
"Low pay, poor management of product production, flow of information."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Structure everything so information is easy to get to and process is standardized, pay according to performance and effort. Pay low get low performance, pay too high people sit back. Fix the flow of information from production of laser to account manager. The account manager should know when the laser should be completed. A laser shouldn't be rushed out the door and made at the last second. Clear pricing structure across the board on all lasers."

"Don't bother. You will be out of there in less than a year so find something else that is better for you. Management will lie to you about compensation. Most Account Managers earn less than 40k total per year"

"High Stress and Low Pay. Management judges you solely on outbound Phone Calls and not how productive or profitable you may be by making less calls than the desired number of 75 minimum outbound calls per day."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management does not listen to the rank and file employee so why bother. They find new ways to cut your pay by using Claimed vs. Non Claimed Accounts and Extranet Orders from YOUR customers sometimes pay you NO COMMISSION at all if they are not Claimed. They also charge the Account Managers 2% for their Accounts that use American Express."

"It was more of a quantity of calls you made per day that were important as opposed to the QUALITY of calls you made. THAT is what should be the most important especially in this type of economic environment."

"To focus on the quality of work your employees do instead of the amount of work they do. You will lower your turnover rate TREMENDOUSLY. For being a source for people looking for jobs your company should not have a TREMENDOUSLY high turnover rate, it doesn't look good for a good company."
