What do you like about working at Avis Budget Group?

"I was able to work the schedule around my school time. Most of the people were really helpful. The monthly bonuses were a great incentive along with the cash gift cards you could win or earn."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Realize you have to get real flexible with your schedule. You most likely will end up working the night shift. If you have lots of dr appointments or other commitments you probably won't make it through probation."

What don't you like about working at Avis Budget Group?

"The new bonus plan is set up as an incentive to keep you working there. I wasn't able to obtain the last bonus due to the new rule. You have to wait 2 months after the end of the quarter to receive your bonus. I could no longer afford to feed my family on the pay. I had to take a better paying opportunity."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They need to redo the quality standards. The low and high matrix they sat up in not a great thing. The superstar program was working. I think people could do excellent customer service with a low talk time. The calls balanced themselves out. The base pay rate is so low, most one income families can not survive working there. You need to increase pay or go back to bonuses being paid out once a month."
