This is a fast paced position which keeps my skills at their best. The understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and control technology is key in the work I perform here.
2.9Company culture has changed over the years. Corporate demands on improved EBITDA and workforce reductions have led to a mass exodus of large numbers of highly-skilled and devoted employees. Local mgmt is completely disengaged, they are simply treading water until told what to do by Corporate and the far-too-powerful HR group. The prevailing opinion is that, in the past, promotions have been based upon tenure.
Autoliv is still a good company to work for. The pay is in the middle of the road but the time-off is better than most and the insurance is very affordable and broad-covering; perks that people care about, not ping-pong tables and video game rooms. Just keep your mouth shut and put on a happy face at all times.
