"Working at a college is great. You have a very enriching environment to go to on a daily basis. However, things do not always move quickly. You need to understand the different type of politics involved in higher education."
What don't you like about working at Augsburg College?
"There is not a lot of room to grow. As a small place, new opportunities are few and far between."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The main thing that management needs to improve is communicating with their reports. An office of 15 does not need 5 levels of structure to accomplish simple tasks. Efficiency can be dramatically improved if management were able to better delegate."
