"A poorly run, sinking ship"

What do you like about working at Audatex?

"The people in the local office are great, and some teams are like one big family."

What don't you like about working at Audatex?

"When Audatex bought the division of ADP, process was largely thrown out the window. When the subject of the long hours and no relief in site was brought up, a manager said, If you don't like it, leave, and, You're not at ADP anymore. While most of the local people are very friendly and want to do an excellent job, they are prohibited from doing so by lack of good and supportive management. It was clear years ago that the office would be closed, but upper management denied it even while laying off 75% of the staff (the announcement was finally made)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Start thinking of your employees as people rather than as positions. Study the mindset of developers and related positions - they can not be treated as cattle, and they are not easily replaceable. They need to recognize the value the years of experience, and of company-wide, consistent, quality-oriented processes. Instead of looking at older products and the people who work on them as slow and outdated, look at what they offer, and what the customers want before you judge. Sales of European products were going up while US ones stabilized, but that was due to the customer base that was not accustomed to and did not demand sophisticated products that allow them to closely monitor and coordinate all aspects of their business."
