What do you like about working at AT&T?
"In many ways, AT&T is leading the way retail is being done. As employees, we get to work with some of the best products in the industry."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Hard work is the best thing you can have, but you also have to be willing to move to different markets to advance quickly. AT&T isn't a bad company to work for - it's stable and is a leader in the wireless industry. Truth be told, the whole wireless industry is going through a correction. Pay is not as good, the industry is more competitive than ever, and the whole situation is projected to get worse. If you don't mind working harder each year just to take home less, then this is the place for you."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"Goals each month are never attainable. Each year results in more work for less money."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"A lot of our back-end systems on the wireline side of the business are older than I am. This means that placing orders for customers is a lot of work, and that getting timely installs is difficult. The company as a whole has been working for several years to upgrade and create this one AT&T, but I've been here for 5 years and not much has changed."
"Support and growth is important."
