"If the cable used for the service is in good condition U-verse is OK. Compared to FIOS, it does not compare. Pay, work conditions and promotional ops are not available. I quite AT&T for a better job due to my degree and level of knowledge. I am now payed for my knowledge and work. I was also hired by Verizon and did not pass pole climbing. It is still in every way a better product, hands down. Yugo compared to a Porche. My brother and Co-worker now has Fios and will never change. AT&T is very lucky its an open competition. LUCKY!"

You will not partake in any of the things that make MSTs, Service techs, DSL tech's love this F%&* up company. For you at&t is just another job and do your best for your self and make moves to leave when an opportunity presents itself. Dont wait when it comes and leave the company behind. They left you behind when they signed the contract."

"The people you meet. The quality of the job you do is in the person. Most people look at AT&T and want the best job done possible. I am a trained network engineer and IT professional and the quality of the work I performed was what I would want in my home. Absolutely not what AT&T teaches the employees. Many of the young guys and managers are not aware of the hardware and software issue and are out in the field just trying to get it up and running. Not making sure that the install works the best way poss. IPTV has many challenges and"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None, but hope that the job market for the young guy doesn't get any better and choices become available to trained and educated tech's. If jobs become available for the same money at other companies. They will see many tech's like myself leave. I have trained many of their employees to take the time to do a good job. I have had calls from customers that would like me to come back to make repairs due to equipment failure and or additions. To tell the truth, I'm done with AT&T. Hell, I would purchase the Iphone if it was not on their service. Check for yourself, don't take my word. Who has the best 3g network or phone service Compare Uverse to Fios. How many HI Def TV's can you have on Fios How many on Uverse Hum... Whats the internet speed available Is it subject to noise, water, copper cable conditions Hum... Its no contest."
