"Encouraging, learning environment"

"Great company with many interesting projects involving water resources engineering. This company is highly organized and streamlined for efficiency. I ultimately blame Covid-19 for the temporary halt in the construction of the Purple Line project since the State of Maryland is broke due to the shutdowns that are on-going. Because the Sate could not pay the contractor, the contractor walked off the job. This resulted in no further work and the elimination of my position"

"Sweatshop environment and they try to intimidate you to work overtime without compensation. Constant hostile environment. Very unprofessional people that will stab you in the back in a heartbeat. Every man for himself there."

"If you're a tired, old, manager-type, you will find a home here. Younger staff will find this a decent starting point. But this will not launch a star's career."

"Top-down management; little opportunity for growth; inadequate HR support for management and non-management employees; company organizational model stunts growth of departmental staff; a large company that functions departmentally like a small, under-capitalized company."

"Get rid of the the dead wood. These are the ones, having had early wins in their careers, who have become experts at concealing their massive losses. Promote from within."
