"Actual crew quarters, showers in every station, pay for years of service so i came in higher than any other company offering me as I have many years of service. direct connect to the dispatch, all stations not woken up for each call at night. Perfect attendance bonus."
"It's a job, just enough to keep you out of the unemployment line but not enough that makes you want to stay. Hit or miss coworkers. Some are great, others you wonder how they have stayed employed. Morale is very, very low here. Ambulances are tired and not well maintained. Being a "staging company" isn't fun. The station is always dirty."
"Micromanagement, old equipment, poor morale, no call bonuses, extremely dirty stations, staging, sleeping in ambulances at night. I went in trying to help build like I do most other jobs. But this outfit, is beyond that. "As far as I'm concerned that's a glorified pickup truck". If the President states that, that overall mentality makes its way down."
"ATEC Ambulance in Crystal Lake Illinois, used to be a great place to work for. Now, ugggh! Horrible!!! They mess with people all the time, it's a wonder why they don't have a revolving door on the place, one way GOING OUT. Outdated equipment, way too much paperwork, stacking calls and crews never getting off on time any more. Don't pay for overtime unless you complain about it for weeks."
